INSOMNIA 74 EXPO
HADO VR
HADO is the world’s first augmented reality sport, blending dodgeball-style action with video game mechanics. It’s a sport like nothing you’ve tried before!
ROBOT REBELLION
Across Saturday and Sunday, 32 teams will battle it out in a full-contact robot wars–style competition. Expect sparks, strategy, destruction, and impressive engineering!
VIRTUAL TENNIS
Step onto the Virtual Tennis Zone with VTEC and swing into immersive VR gameplay. Learn, rally, and compete in fast-paced virtual matches that blend sport and esports fun.
TRADING CARD ZONE
Our dedicated Trading Card Zone for casual play and competition, with space to learn, trade and battle across popular TCGs all weekend, from beginners to veterans alike.
JOYPAD
Revive couch co-op with classic console LAN gaming from the 90s, 00s and 10s. The Joypad Bar is built for big local multiplayer, from Halo to Mario Kart Double Dash.
RETROBUTION
Gaming Retro-bution returns with a chilled retro zone packed with classics. Jump into the classics across a huge range of retro consoles.
COSPLAY
Show off your creativity in the Cosplay area, a long-time staple of Insomnia, celebrating incredible costumes, craftsmanship and fandom of the highest level!
TABLETOP GAMES
Hosted by Mantic Games, the Tabletop Gaming Zone is packed with miniatures, board games and demos. Learn new games, jump into battles, and play all weekend.
MODERN WOLF INDIE ZONE
The Indie Game Zone, sponsored by Modern Wolf, showcases exciting indie titles to play and discover. Meet developers, try new games, and support the indie scene.
TABLETOP RPG
The Tabletop RPG Zone is open all weekend for drop-in sessions or running your own games. Whether you’re new to RPGs or a seasoned GM, everyone’s welcome!

Need a breather? The Quiet Zone offers a calm, welcoming space to unwind, recharge, and take a moment away from the buzz of the show floor.

Get ready for real-world robot combat as Robot Rebellion brings its Beetle Class regional tournament to Insomnia 74.
Across Saturday and Sunday, 32 teams will battle it out in a full-contact robot wars–style competition. Expect sparks, strategy, destruction, and some seriously impressive engineering!
What is Robot Rebellion?
Robot Rebellion is a UK-based robot combat organisation that promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) through hands-on competition at universities and conventions across the country. Their events showcase creativity, technical skill, and competitive problem-solving, all wrapped in spectacular live combat.
