We want Insomnia to be your gaming paradise away from home, so we’ve packed it with everything you need to make the most of your weekend.
From on-site camping for the full festival feeling, to a wide choice of nearby hotels (with a dedicated coach service to get you there and back), you’ll have plenty of ways to stay close to the action.
And for parents, our crèche means the kids are taken care of while you enjoy some uninterrupted game time.
ON-SITE CAMPING
Don’t just camp in your games… camp at Insomnia too!
Why limit camping to your favourite maps when you can do it for real at Insomnia? We’ve got more space than Dust2, giving you the perfect base to game, sleep, repeat (just don’t forget to eat and freshen up in between).
If you’re up for the full festival experience, be sure to grab a Camping Add-On when you buy your ticket!
HOTELS
Not a fan of camping? No worries! There are plenty of great hotels nearby to make your Insomnia i74 weekend as comfortable as possible. In fact, seven hotels are just a short 7–20 minute drive from the venue, including trusted names like Holiday Inn, Travelodge, and Premier Inn. With prices starting from only £45 per night, there’s an option to suit every budget.
To make things even easier, we’re running a dedicated coach service so you can get back to your bed hassle-free (just make sure there are no monsters nearby). Coach passes will be available soon as an add-on when you purchase your ticket, or afterwards if you prefer. Keep an eye on our social channels to be the first to know when they go live!
KIDS CRECHE
At i74 we’re introducing the Kids Creche. This is the perfect place for gamers who want to visit the Expo or play some games with kids in tow.
Available on all days of the Expo, your tiny tots will be looked after by trained professionals who’ll make sure they have the time of their lives, while you hopefully win a graphics card in the Expo.
We’ll announce more details and when these are available on our social channels, so follow to not miss out.
KIDS GO FREE
We believe gaming should be a shared adventure for the whole family. That’s why children under 12 can attend the Expo absolutely free. Simply purchase your own ticket, and bring them along to join the fun.
It’s the perfect chance for young gamers to experience gaming in a whole new way. From hands-on activities and family-friendly zones to the excitement of exploring the UK’s biggest gaming festival. Parents can join in too, discovering the latest in gaming, tech, and entertainment while making unforgettable memories together.
CARERS GO FREE
We want Insomnia to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. If you require support from a carer or essential companion, they can come along completely free of charge.
All you need to do is book your own ticket, then follow our companion pass process to request your free companion ticket. It’s our way of making sure everyone can experience the excitement of Insomnia together, without barriers.
Our companion pass process will be set up by the end of October,
but you can still buy your ticket now to make the most of the Early Bird prices.
